JLS passes start-up phase, rises to the top of the PR market

Communication bureau Jugaste, Liiva and Seimann's (JLS) revenue grew in 2007 by 56% compared to 2006, amounting to 8,2 million EEK, while the profit grew by 25%, amounting to 3,2 million EEK. JLS has become has become one of the biggest communication bureaus on the market, while also being one of the youngest, founded in August 2005.
"Our bureau, created in the summer of 2005, is in a strong phase of growth. We have positioned ourselves as one of the top players in the public relations market, in both our client portfolio volume, number of employees and financial results, in less than three years and while being the youngest bureau on the market," said JLS's board member and partner Kristina Seimann and added, that the success of the company stems from the strong team.
During two years, the three partners have mustered a team consisting of ten members, who were supplemented this summer by two interns. Today JLS's team consists of three partners: Aimar Jugaste, Kristina Seimann and Kristi Liiva; two chief consultants Karin Vene and Regina Salmu; three consultants Artur Jugaste, Lilian Viirma and Lauri Levo; administrative manager Liia Rikson, assistant Eva-Liisa Kaaristo and interns Mattias Liivak and Martin Kõiva.
JLS advises over 50 different clients and projects in both Estonia and other countries of Europe, with the main focus on strategic communication management. Amongst JLS's clients are such reputable companies as Saku Brewery, Rakvere Meat Processing Plant, Telekom Group with EMT, Elion and MicroLink, Eesti Energia, British American Tobacco, Microsoft, Marsh, Premia Foods, SmartPOST, the Estonian Ski Association etc.
Last year the bureau's revenue consisted fully of the sale of services. The main fields of activity were the strategic planning and consulting of communication, which was also the company's primary source of income. JLS, founded three years ago, passed the start-up phase successfully during the end of 2007. During its founding year 2005 from August to December, JLS generated revenue of over 1 million EEK, increasing it five-fold during the next year. In the first full year (2006) the company's turnover was 5,3 million EEK with a profit of 2,5 million EEK. This has enabled the company to raise amongst the TOP 5 players on the public relations market in 1,5 years, according to the Central Commercial Register.
In the summer of 2005, Communication bureau Jugaste, Liiva and Seimann was founded by equal partners Aimar Jugaste, Kristi Liiva and Kristina Seimann, who have experience in public relations related activities on the management level in different organizations for over 15 years.
JLS main field of activity is the strategic consulting of public and private sector organizations in both corporative and marketing communication.
